A little about us
River Ridge Retreat sits on over 670 acres of beautiful property that boasts both mountainside views and over a mile of waterfront on Guntersville Lake. We offer the opportunity to enjoy peace, quiet and all of the beauty nature has to offer. Miles of hiking and bike riding are available on the property. You can enjoy fishing from our banks or large pier. The property is home to abundant wildlife such as whitetail deer and eagles.
The property offers 12, modern tiny house cabins and 54 full hookup, 30/50-amp RV sites as well as our unique wedding chapel. All sites include a grill, fire ring, concrete patio, and picnic table.
Property History Our property is very unique! Many people wonder at the huge 4-lane road that seems to have been built just for us. Well, it was, and it wasn't. This property was once home to a large polyester manufacturing plant. Though the property still has some of the old infrastructure, the plant stopped production in the 80s. The production of the fabric never compromised the purity of the land.
Fun Fact: This property is also home to the Northeast Alabama Water Treatment Plant that purifies water from the lake and provides water to thousands. We have since turned this beautiful and unique property into a wonderful place for everyone to enjoy!
Future Plans River Ridge Retreat has big plans for the future! We’re always improving — building a place where memories are made and you will love to return to! Currently, We are currently building direct waterfront, dual use sites! These sites will be pull-in and back in sites!
