Whether you are escaping the cold this winter or just need a place to call home for a few months, we want to welcome you to our little slice of heaven! With over 670 acres, River Ridge Retreat offers the perfect place to relax. Our property is spacious and secure. We offer nightly, weekly and monthly stays. Our RV sites have availability throughout the year for monthly stays and we offer our cabin on a monthly basis November-February. We have dog parks, playgrounds, a laundry facility & more! The property is gated and secure. Some say it's like Mayberry. Call us! We would love to share our unique property with you!
Winter With Us! We are offering a winter special for first time monthly guests! While we may not be your typical snowbird haven like South Florida or Texas, our winter guests enjoy all four seasons on beautiful Lake Guntersville. Our winters are typically mild compared to northern states with highs in the 50s &60s and lows in the 30s & 40s.
We are now offering Snowbird Cabin Rentals! These will only be available November-February. Cabins Start at $975 per month. Some cabins are pet-friendly and will require an additional $200 pet deposit. These are considered a vacation property and not a residential lease. Please call for availability and details.
Extended Stay (More than 90 Days)
We offer extended stays up to 6 months. Extended stays require an application and security deposit of $200.
$150 of that may be refunded after check out and $50 is a non-refundable site fee.
Rental Agreements may be extended with approval by management.
All RV sites are considered temporary and not guaranteed each month. Monthly RV sites are required to maintain a clean and orderly appearance free from any items not permitted on the sites. Please see our policies.
Guest must have permanent address elsewhere and guests may not receive any USPS mail here. UPs & Fedex packages will be left at the front office.
Fee Schedule:
First month’s rent, plus security deposit, and application/site fee is due upon booking a
monthly site. This includes the following:
$ 50 non-refundable
application/site fee
$ 150 security deposit
RV sites start at $ 675 monthly rental rate
Cabins Start at $ 975 monthly rental rate
The monthly rent is non-refundable. The site rate is due at booking and each month
thereafter on that same date. The monthly rent is inclusive of the maximum of (4)
people unless approved by management. One guest must be at least 21 years old. Additional guests require
prior management approval for an additional fee. Alabama requires sales tax on
rental rates and occupancy charges for the first three (3) month’s rent only. Tax
is currently 9%
The Security deposit will be due at the time of the booking. The security deposit
will be applied to balance of account upon checkout, and remainder, if any, can
be refunded. Management is authorized to use Guest’s security deposit to repair
damage caused and/or to clean the guest’s site, or for any remaining amount
owed to the park. Please note: Guest must check-out through office to receive
any portion of deposit. Leaving without checking out will automatically forfeit
deposit.
Additional Fees: Guests are required to maintain their site in an orderly and clean
manner. Any work performed by our staff to move items/garbage in order to maintain
property appearance will result in a minimum charge of $25.
Late Fees:
If the monthly invoice is not paid within 5 days after the due date, Guest will
be assessed a $5 late fee for every day the payment is late. Failure to make
payments or payment arrangements within 2 weeks (14 days) of the payment due
date will be considered a cancelation of the site rental agreement and guest
must leave the park. At that point, a detainer warrant will be filled for
non-payment.
Liability:
The use of River Ridge Retreat facilities is at the users own risk. Guests are responsible
for their visitors. River Ridge Retreat assumes no responsibility or liability
for the safety and security of RV tenants/campground guests/visitors. River
Ridge Retreat is not responsible for loss or damage to guests’ property due theft,
vandalism, fire, any casualty, or act of God. Registered guests and all other users
of this property expressly assume all risk of such loss or damage and must
carry their own insurance for their RV and vehicles.
VEHICLES
Guest must have their own two vehicle and be able to move RV in case of emergency.
Only 2 vehicles per site. Additional vehicles $60+/mo based on size and require mgmt approval.
