This campground is a hidden gem, located in a natural setting near the banks of Lake Guntersville. Such a relaxing place. My Merlin bird app picked up 38 different birds, including a Bald Eagle and Great Blue Heron.
I am a Wagon Master for a Class A RV group having the opportunity to work closely with property manager, Mary Lundy, who helped our group organize our agenda and set up the clubhouse facility (huge metal building with kitchen setup). Mary is by far the best campground manager I have ever worked with in my 5 years as Wagon Master.
There are several things to do in the area. Our group particularly enjoyed visiting the Unclaimed Baggage store about ½ hour away in Scottsboro.
